98 Accord/auto/3.0 V6
i recently inherited a 98 accord coupe, auto, 3.0 V6 with 180,000km.
i am in the process of attempting to make this car safe and sound. It sat idle for 10 years and since i have taken possession of it, i have replaced brakes, tires, brake lines, plugs, air filters, oil, transmission flushed (june 5 2020), map sensor, idle air control module, i have cleaned the shift solenoid, and have it going in for a timing belt, water pump and tensioner on June 8th.
i had the tranny flushed today, hoping it would solve the hard shift into second, and unless it takes a bit for the fluid to do it's job, this did not solve my problem. there is no engine codes showing, i don't know what to look at next
i read these cars have transmission issues, i am trying to avoid the expense of replacing the transmission as i am already over my budget.
is there anything or suggestions you can help me with?

Yes, a hard shift may not yet show up as "wrong" to the car yet.
Also, as asked in the previous, did you actually do a flush? Or gravity drain the fluid. A flush is often not helpful at all and just makes things worse.
What fluid was used?

I took the car to a honda dealer close to my house. they serviced the transmission, so it would have been honda grade fluid and done to manufacturing specs at least i would think anyways..
not sure what was done to be exact.
as for codes, the car has been on the road for the last ten days or so, it hasn't thrown any weird codes yet.
i will look at the solenoids.... thanks
