I'm looking to put a single cam Vtec head on my EF hatch. I have read a few guides and have a parts list together but I'm wondering what my options are for an ecu. The guide I read seems outdated and calls for a Vtec controller. Is that still something I need to do in 2020 or can I go for something else?

 

in order for VTEC to work properly, you need to convert from OBD0 to OBD1 and use a P28 ECU

 

Thanks, I'll go do some more research then. I'm starting to think this might be to much of a hassle lol
