thank you. As of right now, no, but I’m 100% sure that’s going to change when I start the swap. I’m having a buddy film the whole process as a vlog, so when that’s ready I’ll post it up.

Ruckus swap parts
✓ Gy6 motor $340
✓ Gy6 carb $——
✓ Gy6 motor mount $230
✓ 12x7 wheel / hubcap / tire $380
✓ 1” Spacer $——
◦ Gy6 drum brakes $30
◦ Exhaust $400
✓ Mikuni fuel pump $——
◦ Fuel pump bracket $30
◦ License plate bracket $40
◦ Uni air filter $20
◦ Sidestand $90
◦ Hub 4/110 $140
◦ Short axle $30
◦ Lowdown shock $130
✓ Wiring harness for 11 pole stator 7 pin reg / rect (ATR G5 harness) $190
◦ Extended brake line / fuel line / throttle cable $45
✓ 11 pole stator / I think I can use stock stator with this g5 harness $42

Total remaining : $ 955
Total spent : $ 1182

Total Cost : $ 2137

I have all the remaining parts orders lined up ready to placed and picked up in the next couple of weeks. Although I have to wait for my exhaust which could be a month.

If it's not already on your list, add an aluminum intake manifold and an angled riser. The stock intake manifold is garbage.
The angled riser is so the carb clears the frame.
You will need better brakes so budget for a front disc setup. The drums won't cut it with your newfound speed.
Good luck with the build.

got it. I’ll definitely add the disk brakes to the list.

I know that the carb needs to face forward because of the usual mounts on the market and the frame but I found a new mount that sacrifices lower height for more clearance allowing the carbs to be facing rear as intended. but I think the uni filter might be too big. Idk I’ll check it out when my mount gets here

thanks I will. A little update. My wheel and tire got here and I got a hell of a deal on this. Came with a thick Honda emblem hub cap.

Btw this is the mount. It just came out so there’s no videos on it but I’ll update and tell you guys how it is. They’re avid ruckus riders so I trust that everything is sturdy.

Most of my parts are in. Exhaust is being made by Dorbyworks and that should do it. Once I turn her over once and ride her for a month or two I’ll take it apart and get it painted.

I can’t wait...

This is the exhaust I’m going with.

Just replaced my stator and rear axle but ran into an issue with removing the variator.. that nut is being very stubborn even after several sprays of wd40.. which means I couldn’t get the belt back on.. will try again tomorrow and if it doesn’t work then I’ll have to rent an air compressed impact driver..

Honda emblem looking good. I might paint it red to accent the seat. And bolts
