Default 1996 Honda Civic b20b vtec b16head

Idk if there is already a post about this but if there is I obviously didn’t look hard enough. I just dropped a b20vtec into my car and I’m now having a crank no start, I was getting no spark so I went ahead and just got a new coil, rotar, dizzy cap, wires for a b16 an Ngk iridium Plugs still no spark. I also have a chipped ecu specifically for my b20vtec car gets fuel I can hear turn on but my check engine light doesn’t go away stays on until I try an crank it. I checked my fuses none are blown I have ground on thermostat ground from tranny to chassis an block to chassis I’ve been at this for 3 weeks now an I’m still just getting crank no start.

If the top picture is currently what it looks like, your crank sensor is unplugged and you have atleast 3 vacuum leaks

How about a close up picture of that distributor jumper harness ? I see what appears to be a black/yellow wire going to nothing... and that is a 12v power wire.

I swapped those dizzy wire around and turns out I had pin 9 speed sensor hooked up to ign so I swapped pin 9 with pin 10 ign to make ign on the jumper now dizzy getting spark but still just cranks.

It kind of looks like the Map plug and TPS plug is backwards or the wrong plug on the Map sensor!

The map and TPS both branch off the harness with a short tail to the plug, its why they sometimes get switched around when doing swaps.

I'm pretty sure the plug you have on the Map sensor is wrong! It has a long lead to the plug which does not look like the Map sensor plug for a B series Vtec harness.

Verify you have the correct plugs the Map and TPS sensor.

Alright I’ll do that rn I’m just gonna go through every plug again. An on another note with my cel light if that constantly stays on that doesn’t necessarily mean I got a fried ecu?

Cant say but I'm 99.9% sure you have the wrong map plug on and that's why it wont start! Looks like you put the O2 sensor plug on the Map sensor and Map plug on the TPS sensor!..

Your last photo shows you holding the 3-wire IACV plug... which means that you do NOT have the IACV plugged in correctly. You must convert this plug to a grey two-wire plug and modify your wiring inside the passenger compartment at the ECU plugs. Why did you use an automatic engine harness in a manual chassis ?

Man you all need to stop and pay attention to what's going on. The guy is clueless and doesn't even realize he's got a cable trans in an ek chassis. He needs someone to do this for him, not tell him it could be this or that, not sure.
