94 Honda Civic fuel pump won’t prime
So I have a bone stock 94 Civic with a d15 non Vtec. I bought the car 2 days ago. When I got it, i had to turn the key in the on position and wait a few minutes before the fuel pump purged, but it ran perfect besides some jerking when I pressed the gas sometimes. I have done everything I can to try and get this thing to start back up. I had a buddy give me an ecu that was good, didn’t fix the problem. I bought a new main relay which also didn’t prime the pump. I bypassed the pump and got it to prime but still won’t start. It will start when spraying starting fluid in the throttle body and I can rev it up but it just dies down. I’ve checkEd the thermostat ground, it was good. I opened up the fuel rail, when I bypassed the pump and heard it prime it shoots fuel out the rail. It has spark. I did manage to mess with the wire I used to bypass the relay. And one turned the engine over without the key in it. I’m so fed up with this thing. If someone has any idea what could be going wrong please help!

I have also cleaned out the map sensor, which it tries to turn over when I do that but it doesn’t unless I put starting fluid in it. Although after I put the relay back in and not the bypass after cleaning the map sensor it almost ran. It would start and I could pulse the gas in and out and it would stay running but very badly. Almost as if it was bogging down
