Default 2000 Civic - Not starting - Novice - Need Help

2000 civic si i just bought yesterday. new to the honda scen . Dont know a lot about cars but do the best I can to learn when I can. The car has a lot of aftermarket parts but a stock B16 engine and stock B16 trans. It ran fine all day yesterday but today she dont start. She's getting power from battery and the ignition is firing all the fuses are good no check engine lights. She sounds like she wants to turn over but seems like the fuel system is compromised in some way. Any help is much appreciated!
forgot to ask what type of fuel would be the best? I know it needs unleaded but would 93 be best or the unleaded 88 or any octane?

If you don’t think you’re getting fuel try to hear if the fuel pump primes when, the key is first cycled on. You can also remove the hose on the fuel pressure regulator and have someone key it on to see if fuel pressure is even there.

The gas door says "Premium Unleaded Only" on the inside next to the fuel neck. That means 93 octane... or 91 at least. Stay away from the low and mid grades for optimum performance.
