D15B7... intermittent fuel pump signal
any help would be appreciated

 

Give us a little more information. Like, what have you done to track down the problem, when did it start, what was recently done to the car?

It's virgin no mods...I changed the the two 15 amp fuses in both boxes...I cleaned the ground wire on the thermostat housing...I replaced the relay with a know good one...I get an occasional signal from the relay to the fuel pump and it starts...It sat for a few months, I've owned it for 8 years and have never had a problem...all I've ever done was replace the battery and years ago put new shocks in the front
i don't what else to do...

Power capacitor problem within the ECU...

 

I called a friend and he said he'll see if he can solder in a new capacitor...thank you...

 

I was able to borrow a friend's ECU and still no fuel pump signal. I jumped A8 to ground and the fuel pump doesn't run/ no signal either.
i noticed today that a small amount of water was leaking on the cover of the fuse box in the engine bay and dripping down the back toward the firewall.
