Default Overheating on 2005 Honda Accord v6

Hi. I am having an issue with my car, a 2005 Honda Accord v6, overheating. If I am setting idle for a few minutes, the gauge moves to the hot area. I need to turn the ac off and that will cause the car to return to normal, otherwise the temperature continues to rise.
Any ideas?

Thermostat, fans not turning on due to either temp sensor or fan being busted? Do you meant turn AC on to get it to come back down and not off? Turning AC on turns on the 2nd fan.
Do you get this in town driving only or on highway as well?

I get this temperature creeping up mainly when I am on idle (either at long drive-thru or simply waiting), then I either turn vehicle off or turn the ac off to allow temperature to go down.
If I am driving around town I am ok (the temperature gauge is ok)

I repaired my car.
I simply replaced my radiator fan assembly.
Thank you for your assistance.
