I bought a clutch kit for a 90-91 crx and installed it, but the clutch was so hard that I could not engage it. I did adjust the cable many times and made sure it was not stuck.
took it off and they are the same diameter, but the side that mates to the flywheel seems like it sticks out too much. what else could prevent the clutch from engaging?
Also the old disk has 4 springs compared to the new one with 6 is that right?

the problem with engagement is in the pressure plate and throw out bearing in most cases
did you get those new also?
