Entire instrument cluster shut off
So I was driving my civic earlier, in the rain, and as soon as I hit the turn signal to merge my entire dash shut off. Turn signals stopped working, CEL shut off, speedo stopped working, no temp gauge or anything. Was in decent traffic so I just kept driving, only about a mile until I got to where I was going. Stopped there, and was about to start checking fuses (even though I know no fuse runs that many instruments) and right before I got out of the car everything lit up and worked perfect. Bad ground or something? Where should I start to track it down? It’s a 1992 dx, but the cluster came from an LX
I also drove it 40 or so miles after that happened with zero issues, again, in the rain.

This guy is pointing you in the right direction. My brother in law had the same problem with his 94 ex and this happened to him on his way back home. All the interior lights went out after he hit a bump. Apparently it knocked a corroded ground off the harness or chassis and it caused the problem.
