need answers
i’ve had a few people tell me that I could fit a k20 block under the head of an r18 engine and i’ve compared them together and think it would work with a few modifications to the bottom of the head but I don’t know for sure since I don’t have a k20 block to get my hands on. has anyone done/tried this before? if so what were the results and did you do any modifications?
I have gotten over my head a bit with a manual conversion and d16y7/z6 head swap at the same time.i have a 98dx hatch....I think the z6 isn't a common swap because there's not a lot out there..I think I have most of it figured out with a few exceptions..not to sure what ecu to use but to make it easier I don't have to go through deq...I bought a z6 head that needed a new cam...the last 5 min at pick and pull the other day I happen to find a automatic z6 so I took out the cam and full intake...will that intake work for my manual converson and what head,intake,exhaust gaskets do I use the y8 or z6?..when I got my manual trans it came with an stock intake and exhaust manifold and as a bonus a turbo manifold but I don't plan to turbo yet..any advice will be great as I'm waiting to order parts
