Default 94 Del Sol D15B7 not my 94 DOHC

My car wouldn't start. No signal/occasional signal to fuel pump. Changed out relay with a known good one. Same, ocassional signal. I let it run when it starts and noticed the temperature gauge is not working and fans are not turning on So I have three new problems. I cleaned the ground on the thermostat housing, seemed to help for a while with starting. I tested the fans, they're fine. Any ideas,?
I hate throwing parts at a car if it's not needed. The car is stock with low mileage. I took out the ECU it's looks clean.

Paper clipped the thermo fan switch and also checked for power at the connection next to the radiator overflow. The body ground wire looks like a rat was nibbling on it. I checked all the fuses, relays, I pulled the wires on thec temp sensor and the temp send switch looked at those. They look good.
I'm thinking the ground wire to the body might be the cause for the intermittent start, no temp gauge, no fan has me confused...and not sure...I got it started this morning andcand the hose temps...they seem normal, so I'm confident the thermostat is working. Thanks for replying.
