Drain gas on 2000 Civic Si
Hey Honda-Tech,
I have a 2000 Civic si with turbo setup on original B16 that has not been started up for over a year now with a full tank of 93. Not really trying to risk damaging anything by trying to fire it up with old gas. After doing some looking around on google and other forums and cannot get a definite answer if this model has a fuel tank drain plug?
If is doesn't have a drain plug, what old be the best way to try and get out as much of the old gas as possible? I see siphon pumps but i'm guessing there is a screen that blocks the fuel tank.
Thanks for the help

Yes Sir, it does have a fuel drain plug. If you look under the car, basically look at your gas door and follow it down, you will see it.
I want to say that is how all the 6th Gen Civics have their gas tank plugs located. I have drained my 4 door and my hatchback recently.
Pretty easy actually.
