2003 hybrid 5mt won’t move in gear
Loaned the my car out to a friend and it came home in a tow truck,
04 Honda hybrid 5mt
clutch has close to 65k on it but felt great no slipping before loaning it to a friend for a few days
so currently when I start the car and put it into any gear and let the clutch out it doesn’t move, and it does not make any weird sounds in gear or in neutral.
is this clearly a bad clutch or could something else like the clutch slave be the issue?
friend offered to pay for repairs but I rather DIY as I’m out of work and have plenty of time to lay in the driveway and cuss while working on the car and to save her a few bucks as I’m sure it’s a 1500 plus bill at a repair shop
thanks in advance

If you crank the engine, put the transmission into any gear, let the clutch out and press the gas pedal. Does your speedometer move ? If so, the problem is not the clutch. It could be as simple as an axle popped out or broken... or it could be an internal transmission issue. If the speedo needle doesn't move, then it is likely the clutch itself.
