Default Lowering

Hey guys, new member here. I’ve bought some Eibach lowering springs for about $280 with shipping, haven’t installed yet. I’ve been hesitant because of road conditions (I live in New England) , but they only go down 1.5 inches.

I was reaching out to find suggestions on pros/cons of lowering a TSX, but also if there was anything else I should replace while doing this, such as the suspension or anything else.

thanks for all the help !

Adjustable rear camber arms are a must.

1.5" is a large drop. TSX geometry doesn't take well to going low if you still want the car to handle.

Based on the age of the car, I would definitely consider new shocks. TBH, buy a set of coilovers, tein flex Z are an amazing deal and offer adjustability beyond what you're looking for at a similar cost as a shock/spring combo and allot easier to install.

Also, as mentioned rear camber arms should be considered but not necessary. I've ran two of my TSX's without them with no major issues. Just expect to have at least -2 degrees of rear camber. There are millions of discussions on whether camber impacts tire wear. I've always been on the side of it only impacting the wear if poor toe adjustments and or anything above -3 degrees.
