I have a question. I have 1988 honda accord that is shaking very very badly when it is idling or in park. Mechanics have changed the motor mounts, check the fuel injectors, the belts, spark plugs and wires, and check just about everything else. But it still is shaking and it seems to have gotten worse since the new motor mounts have been put in. Has anyone else had this problem or know of what it could be? Any help would be welcomed.

 

Balance shaft, are you sure it’s running on all 4 cylinders? A 4 cylinder running on only 3 will shake like crazy.
