2001 Honda Accord 3.0L V6 No Dash Lights
So, recently i picked up a 2001 Honda Accord Coupe 3.0L V6, came with an aftermarket pioneer deck already installed, had a remote start wired into it, and a switch which was wired for a sub woofer (owner told me that, not 100% Sure though). Took it out for a short drive about two nights ago, and realized i had no dash lights... With the light switch in the off position, i can see my miles and thats it. when i turn it off the whole cluster goes black, no lights/illumination (all the colorful lights work perfectly fine). Removed all the aftermarket wiring (aside from head-unit). nothing has changed. Replaced a couple fuses that were blown, still no changes. The Pioneer is a "Pioneer MVH-290BT". The harness has an un-used Solid Orange and Orange/White wire. both go from Adapter to the Deck. However, there's nowhere for it to go to on the Deck plug... with the various diagrams i can find, i cant seem to find a wire that would be used for it... when i try to tap the solid orange onto either the Red 12V Accessory, or Yellow 12V Constant Power, it doesn't do anything. I'm beginning to think it could be a relay? I would like to note that i pulled Fuse 9 on the Driver Side Fuse Panel/Compartment which is labeled Instrument Panel, Back-up Lights, which is a 7.5fuse, and the vehicle almost died... I don't understand how removing a lighting fuse causes that...?? if you have any (ANY) insights, please please for the love of god let me know, i am supposed to be moving next month with the vehicle and wont be able to at this rate.
