1991 civic wagon alternator removal HELP
Is the bottom bracket off?
Point the pulley facing upwards and it slides right out the wheel well.
Also helps to disconnect the shock and let the knuckle sag. Necessary if you have shortened race shocks, probably not.

A pry bar, a piece of wood, a long metal pipe, or a long screw driver. Then just pry the engine on a solid point. 9 out of 10 times it will move enough to slide it out without having to remove the Master Cylinder. Also, helps to have someone to pull on the leverage bar. That way you have both hands free to finagle the alternator.
still trying to remove it??
i prefer the actual designed/intended way to remove things (thru the wheel well), but theres two other ways, one being by removing the brake MC temporarily, the other is by removing the air intake tube and shuffling it over the crossmember and out.
these are desperate solutions, like trying to fill the tranny oil thru the VSS. half-assed, but works if primary method isnt available/possible.
