Default Need help with b16a wire harness plugs and engine sensors

I need help figuring out what these sensors and plugs are. I have a 89 JDM b16a that I have swapped into a 97 ek civic. I have the wire harness almost hooked up completely but a few sensors and plugs that I have no idea what they are or where they go. If someone could help me with a few questions I would really appreciate it.

I have questions at the bottom of each picture.

So this first picture I’m not sure what this plug on the left is or where it goes and ground wire on the right I don’t know where it goes or what it’s to either. Does someone know?

The second picture is the general area the first two wires above sit without being hooked up. I saw this forum that said something about a sensor plug being on the thermostat here but I’m not sure because its a 89 b16a. Can someone explain this?

This third pictures there is a few things wrong, the green plug I have no idea what it is? There is a plug on my wire harness that’s cover by a black rubber thing but it only has one pin hole not two like the green sensor. Why is this? I’m also confused about me having a threaded hole for my oil pressure sensor but I don’t have a sensor there. Is this because it’s 89 JDM b16a? There also isn’t a oil pressure plug on my 96 ex wire harness? Or is there one and I just missed it? I really need someone to help me with this.

This last pic is a picture of the black rubber plug that is a one pin hole on my wire harness but won’t fit the two pin green sensor.

First one is for coolant temperature sensor that is suppose to go in the thermostat housing. You will need to buy the housing and and sensor for a gsr or civic si

The transmission sensor appears to be the reverse light sensor. It's different than others I've seen so I'm not sure how to convert that

The harness with the big rubber boot should be the knock sensor that is under the intake manifold next to the oil filter on the block. Not sure if an 89 b16 had one or not. You will need to find a knock sensor for a dseries or bseries and mount it to the engine block somehow

So wait hold on what do you mean the transmission sensor is the reverse lights? I’m confused about that.

Second do you know what the two pin green sensor is on the back of the block in the pictures above?

Third do you know why I don’t have a oil pressure sensor here next to the green plug on the back of the block?

Last is this the knock sensor that the back rubber thing plugs into (in the picture below)

I personally thought the black boot 1 wire was the oil pressure sending unit wire. That's what they look like on my 5th gen D series.

Your green sensor on the back of the block looks to be a single wire/pin not two pin like you mentioned. I tend to think it's either the JDM knock sensor or the JDM oil pressure sending unit sensor.

The 2 pin item is also a mystery. It doesn't seem to have the normal plastic side walls to it to hold a female plug. The type of pins look sort of like the block heater pins. The block heater on the D series looks quite different but the shape of the pins looks almost identical.

The top one is the knock sensor above the oil filter

The bottom one is the oil pressure switch

No I got you confused the green sensor in the previous picture is the knock sensor to my knowing, The green plug that's a two pin in this picture I don’t know what it is, second the threaded hole that’s circled I need to know if it’s the oil pressure sensor location and why I don’t have the plug on my wire harness for one here either.

Ah I see, yeah I was confused because I can see an axle in the background.

The green two pin thing is in a location that isnt used in your obd2 harness. Its possible that the green 2 pin is a coolant sensor of some sort, or block heater for winter months. If its a coolant sensor, remember you need to get a 99/00 si thermostat housing to mount the 99/00 si coolant temperature sensor

Also the ground wire, the black thing with wires on it, is mounted on the thermostat housing

the threaded hole missing a sensor is where the oil pressure sensor goes. You have the connector for it in your picture posted at the top, it's the one with the fat rubber cover on the end of the wire

Ok now this is starting to make a little sense, so because the green two pin sensor in back isn’t used on my wire harness. Do I leave it there and it will be ok? And just hook up thermostat housing wires and it should fire up fine right?

Next you said I need a new oil pressure sensor, but I just bought a glow shift oil pressure gauge for my car, it came with an oil pressure sensor but should buy a T mount so I can have my wire harness hooked up and my oil pressure gauge or should I just hook up only my glow shift oil pressure gauge?
