Default Need Help with a 98 Accord

Hi I need some help with my 98 accord. For some reason it randomly starts acting up while I知 driving. The speedometer and tachometer will start jumping around then just stop working, then my radio with start cutting out, and then the car will stop accelerating and eventually it just dies. It値l start right back up if I jump start it, I replaced the alternator about 6 months ago, put new battery terminals on it, I知 not quite sure what else to do.

If you scan the car do you get any computer codes back?

If nothing, my guess is perhaps the ignition coil is bad.

Or...maybe the Ignition Control Module.

So many systems effected. Look for a common point in the wiring diagrams to start. Cables replaced, meaning that some harnesses were bad, and the system was disturbed. I would look at the main relay.

The altnerator is spinning , and producing, but there is something in the way of the current.

Have you tested the battery?

I know it's not something I would want to hear, but it is possible the alternator is bad again. I'm not sure why there are so many **** manufacturers of alternators for these older hondas, but it seems like most auto parts store alternators are garbage. Had a case last year where I had to replace the alternator three times until I found a good one that has lasted.
