High compression d16y8 block help!!

Default High compression d16y8 block help!!

Hello my first official post, I need help. I just put in a high compression d16y8 block in my 98 civic dx. My problem I’m having is that it won’t stay running when it warms up... i checked timing, vacuum lines and check valve lash and all.. is guess I’m new to the high compression block and could use any tips and advices from you all... also what is needed to run a high compression block if any...?? Ask the person who built the engine for you!

I put it together myself because I threw a bearing..
I can usually figure things out but in this case I’m stumped... hence the reason why I asked..

So on cold start it starts and idles fine then it shuts off when it gets to OP temp?

If the rest of the engine is stock and stock ECU then you should be fine running 91 pump gas if you have mods of any I recommend having a ECU tune using a OBD1 ECU setup and base map to start with. And have it fully tuned. But your issue is probably sensor related.
