Default Ef swap

Recently aquired an ef hatch. Auto and has rod knock. I have a 97 ek coupe 5 speed car i plan on swapping into the ef
my main concern is wiring... I have the complete ek engine harness Ecu ect. Would it be easier to swap everything over or can the ef harness be modified to accept the ek engine harness and Ecu?
the motor is a z6 bottom end y8 head running an obd jumper from obd1 to obd2.
building an autox car to beat on and take to a few track days eventually... Thanks for any input 👍👍

the ef harness is the one you need to keep but you need to modify it to work with the new stuff
this video has all the info you need

no your ek ecu wont work and yes the distributer will work but will need to be rewired to obd1 since its obd2
if you have anymore questions fell free ^_-
