Product list inquiry: What components are needed to run E85 pump fuel?
So lining up everything, I think I have only one question. For your typical B series car to run E85 you need to following
So the fuel lines are where I'm really stumped. Are we talking the fuel lines need to be replaced from the tank to rail or from the firewall to rail? Am I missing anything?
- E85 capable fuel filter (undecided)
- Larger injector (750cc in my case for 330whp)
- Larger fuel pump (E85 Walbro 400 Fuel Pump F90000267 in my case)
- Fuel rail (AEM for me)
- Fuel pressure regulator (undecided)
- Fuel lines (undecided)
- Flex fuel sensor (GM)
- Tuning ECU (Hondata S300)

I wouldn’t imagine you’d have to do fuel lines for 330whp. Unless your concerned with corrosion, and in that case I’ve seen People use 6an hose and run all new

- E85 capable fuel filter (undecided) I'm running a 20-micron stainless filter so I can clean it and reuse it. I'm using Grams, but any name brand will likely do.
- Larger injector (750cc in my case for 330whp) Yes, maybe more for safety margin. Depends on what duty cycle you're comfortable running.
- Larger fuel pump (E85 Walbro 400 Fuel Pump F90000267 in my case) Yes.
- Fuel rail (AEM for me) Stock rail is fine
- Fuel pressure regulator (undecided) Agree with @NVturbo - I'm using Aeromotive PN 13129
- Fuel lines (undecided) Stock hard lines are fine. I'm currently using stainless braided fuel lines in the engine bay...pretty sure they are just rubber on the inside. I know they aren't the PTFE lined hoses.
- Flex fuel sensor (GM) Only required if you're running flex fuel. If you're just going to run straight E85, no sensor is needed. Per our conversations in the other thread, flex fuel is pretty nice to have, though.
- Tuning ECU (Hondata S300) Yes.

I have the 13129 and love it. 1:1 rising rate. Good stuff.
As for the limes, just your cabin rubber hoses need be swapped with something a bit better compatible with ethanol. Hardlines, don't worry about. A LOT of people confuse ethanol with METHANOL when it comes to corrosion. Methanol is pretty corrosive to most auto systems..

I have that one with a Marshall pressure gauge attached to the front.

Marshall makes the same gauge for K-tuned but costs $10 more...because K-Tuned name. LOL

High concentrations of Methanol are as equally corrosive, so I would use caution with both, really.
At the very minimum I would go with the walbro 450lph (F90000274)
You can keep the stock fuel filter if you would like, just get a new one stock filter. We make a PTFE braided hose that goes from the stock fuel filter to your AEM fuel rail. Plug and play. Comes with adapter for stock fuel filter and AEM fuel rail.
As far as regulators go, I would recommend our Fuel It Up mini fuel pressure regulator. It is compatible with e85, meth/alcohol, and even nitro-methane. Adjustable from 40-90 psi. We have adapters that allow it to be mounted directly to the fuel rail on the return side. Then all you would need is a line to go from the bottom of the fuel pressure regulator to the stock hard line. We have carry the hard line adapters for the stock return line to convert to -6.
I see your using the flex fuel sensor also. We have the 3/8" quick disconnect fittings to -6. Give us a call and I can get you all setup.
Hi my B&R Fittings account has been deleted so I'm on my old personal account.

Sweet, finally got in touch with B&R and now have some fuel fittings on the way. Hardlines forward will all be AN and aftermarket parts.
Wow B&R already has the parts out shipped to me! Holy cow they aren't joking with customer service it seems. This is my first dealings with these guys.
