99 accord manual swap into a 2001 accord auto
I need a bit of help for this one, never done much work on accords, but I have a 2001 accord auto, 4 cylinder, blown tranny, I just got a 99 accord for a donor car that I want to swap into the 01 accord, it's wrecked but swap is still good, has the whole 5 speed swap,,,,,, my question is since I have the whole swap, axles, ecu, etc... Will the mechanical and wiring be a direct fit If I swap everything from the 99 manual 4 cylinder, to the 01 auto 4 cylinder? If not a direct fit, can anybody steer me into the right direction?
Best thing would be to retain the engine/trans harness from the 99 and use it in the 01.
Most of the parts will be bolt in, there may be issues with the frame bracket for the trans mount and a couple of holes may need to be drilled or modified to attach pedal box and such.
On V6s there is a difference in dash wiring with 98/99 and 00+ models. I *think* this is the same with the 2.3s.
Do you have an FSM for the car?

Here is a 1998 Accord 2.3L 5 speed for $800.
