95 DelSol D15B7 Series Automatic, OIl in Spark Plugs
Hi,
I'm wondering if I should attempt to change the gasket rings just under the rockerarm??
I changed the valve and spark plug gaskets a while ago and now I see again ,there is oil in the spark plugs.
I need to take the rocker arm assembly out on my 1995 Honda Del SOl S 1.5L D15B7 so I can replace the lower spark plug tube seals and I will also change the o ring at the distributor.
My question is removing the rockerarm something I should be able to do?? (Just learning on my 95 Del Sol).
I love working on the car but I don't want to make things worse. Is this a bad idea?/
Is it pretty straight forward 1)remove rockerarm , 2)turn it over, change the rings and then 3)replace the rockerarm making sure all of the arms are down ,none sticking up??
Can the rockerarm fall apart when I turn it over??
I know I sound paranoid ...guess I am but, I would like to fix the car correctly . Just don't want to bite off more than I can chew. How difficult is this?? Anyone???

You should have a FSM.
There is a specific torquing sequence for the rocker arm assembly.
IF you take out the rocker arm assembly, keep it together with the bolts in it so you can set it in a box lid or something of the like, it won't fall apart on you. If you pull the bolts out of the top assembly, parts will be able to slide off the rocker rods and then you have the fun of trying to put it all back together.
The 92-95 FSM will be able to give you the D15B7 motor information. I don't remember if there was a full FSM available for the Del Sol, so your wiring and body stuff may be the challenging area.
