Hey I was just wondering what boxes fit the ZC ?! I’ve got a 86 AT civic SI but it’s auto and I’m looking at changing it to manual but to get the manual box is like finding a golden ticket!!

I was wondering what boxes bolt up with and without changing the mounts... I’ve currently got the chance to buy one from a 3rd gen civic but it’s from a 1.5 carb and not sure if it will bolt up

 

Single cam or dual cam? If dual cam, what year?

 

it’s an 1986 civic SI brown top ZC

 

You can use any 86-89 Integra transmission with no modifications.

You can use 90-00 SOHC D series transmissions with extensive modification (including mounts).

 

would a 1.5 3rd gen civic box fit on the D16ZC box ?

 

No idea, I've never tried.it. The ratios wouldn't be ideal and the trans lacks aftermarket support.
