Default How do I get a heater core that fits?

I'm trying to replace my heater core in my '93 Accord EX, and I can't get a heater core that fits properly. I've bought all four listings on RockAuto.com. The first three cores had tubes that were bent too far down and couldn't be inserted all the way into the core housing. This last core I bought has tubes that aren't bent enough and don't line up with the holes in the firewall. I'm afraid if I try to bent the tubes myself I'll break the brazing between the tubes and tanks. All the other vendors carry the same brands of cores, so would buying from somewhere else matter? Is there a trick to bending the tube slightly to help with fitment? Thanks.

Can you take the old one out and go down to someplace local to see what they have? Autozone, Oreilly, etc? Then maybe you can compare to see what's missing or wrong?
