What intake would be the best for my 2011 Honda Civic EX Sedan??
Hi I am looking for the best cold air intake or just intake in general for my 2011 Honda Civic EX Sedan that will give me the most power gains and I would like to know what intakes you guys are running if any but for exhaust, I am only running my cat and resonator but if you guys have any suggestions drop them down below, please

I Just installed an HPS Performance short ram intake on my 06 EX Coupe like the one seen above and the difference in performance is night and day. It also has a really nice subtle throaty sound when at high RPM's. I highly recommend it got it at www.hpsperformanceproducts.com and its about $200 or so, pricey but i'm very pleased. It is extremely well built and even comes with heat shield. I opted for the short ram due to the possibility of the CAI sucking in water since the filter will route and mount in the bottom behind the driver side wheel well.

Thank you for the response @jdmDAteg I Will look into buying one of those but I have a couple of questions. First off what do you mean by "the difference in performance is Day and Night " also have you hear of anyone using the Weapon R Neo Titanium intake? also, have you seen or had any noticeable difference in your power or is it mildly noticeable? Does anybody have any other recommendations for what to get since it is sold out?

Short ram should work out decently on these cars being the intake is up front and the exhaust is in the back. The air should remain cooler for longer. The newer ECU's should be able to adapt better to the modifications so you should see a difference anytime in closed loop mode. WOT should still be based on the tune and may not see a whole lot of difference. Over long drives the short ram will still suffer as the temps will rise under the hood after awhile.
I have the Si and instead I have the Injen true Cold Air intake. The filter (with rain sock) is down behind my drivers side fog light. With a tune I now get more Wheel Horsepower than the motor had stock Brake Horsepower and that is with 400,000 kilometers on the motor.
The disadvantage of the true cold air and an advantage of the short ram is water. Cold air tends to be down by the ground, outside the engine bay to always get ambient air but is susceptible to water intake from puddles etc, which can hydro-lock a motor and bend rods etc. The short ram rides high in the engine bay so has the advantage of being safe from water/puddles etc at the cost of higher air temperatures due to not being ambient air but engine compartment air.
Injen cold air has been tuned for the motors on dyno's with proven HP gains.
Oh I should also probably add..... Even though the ECU is compensating for your mods, it would still be best to tune the car after the mods are put in place. The reason being is that the ECU will no longer be running center line of it's tune so will have less room to deviate should things change. A good tune, as per my understanding, is based on averages so the car basically is running in the center which in turn gives the most amount of deviation capability when conditions change.

Sorry as I never saw the reply, if you still need an answer here it is...
What I meant by night and day was a much more non-technical way of saying it gained significant power (without telling you just how much power) in both take off and highway speeds. I would say the notice in power for that r18 engine with the HPS intake was enough for me to recommend it, but don't expect it to compare to a turbo setup of course.
As for Weapon R, I am not familiar with it and I try to stay with better known brands like HPS, Injen or K&N
