I'm in the process of buying a 2008 TSX with 170k miles. It was in a light fender bender in the front but I'm not too worried about that. My question is what would cause all of the dash warning light to come on and stay on... It runs and drives fines but none of the light go off, unless the car is turned off. This is my only hold up to purchasing the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated
The VSA and Exclamation in the triangle warning lights could mean the yaw sensor has failed. Retail is around $800 and it is a reasonably common thing to fail. Could also just mean the yaw rate position needs to be zeroed.
TPMS could be a low tire. Or it could be a bad sensor or multiple bad sensors.
SRS warning could be left over from the fender bender. Could be a damaged impact sensor. Or it could be a faulty seat belt switch.
So many possibilities and they have a wide range of costs associated. Really need a scan tool capable of looking at all of those systems to make an informed decision.
