I just bought an 08 civic with factory navi, but said dvd disc reading error contact dealer. before I go to the dealer and get charge for arm and leg, do you anyone know where I can get access to one?!! if I did would it automatically work?

 

No, the navi units are coded to the car.

Even changing the battery causes you to need the code for the navi unit to work. It's an anti theft security feature and only available from your dealer or a licensed tech with licensing from Honda.

 

I’m talking about the navigation maps.. I already got the code you can access it online through their site. The navigation disc itself.. I don’t know how or where i can get the disc beside the dealership itself
