Default 1998 Accord LX 4cyl 5spd

Good day everyone. I am new to this site but have owned my Honda for years and this car owes me nothing.
I got it with 52,000 from my buddies mom who bought it brand new.
it now has 158,000 flawless miles on it. It has just developed a what looks like something honda drivers have seen before. All my door open dash lights and batt light and brake light came on out of nowhere and were flickering on the dash.
Took the car home and put my voltmeter on the battery . it was showing 9 volts then 16 volts then 10 volts while idling. Battery is a new unit and has been in for 4 months before this happened.
I ordered a replacement ALT from Rockauto . Changed it no problem, now no flickering light and my meter is showing 13.9 v at the battery and directly off the alternator connection at the ALT. Problem is all the same lights are still on but not flickering... Car has been running and is still running flawless, but im stumped now . What else is there??? You guys have seen it all please advise...
Thank John.

I think I would check :

1 - just double check the alternator is secure and not wobbling
2 - check grounds on the car to make sure they are solid. Not just there, but solidly connected and not rusted out
3 - Perhaps unplug the ECU to reset it?

If you don't want to unplug the ECU, perhaps just unplug the battery for 15 minutes or so and see if it resets anything.

My friends , I changed the Alternator again and have the same problem. Hard to believe 2 bad units ... All door open lights still on , battery light and Brake light. Car runs fine , everything works as it should and Battery is brand new. Car owes me nothing, . Alternator reads 13.9 v with meter. Im stumped. I will just drive it this way probably. John S.

Hello, alternator #2 installed . Still no changes at all... Battery NEW, everything works on vehicle as it should. Battery disconnected for 15 mins and reconnected , still no changes.,.... I should just take out the dash lights that remain on , just remove the bulb.....

From out of nowhere.....I'm stumped.... I got this accord 4cyl 5speed with 52,000 on it way back, 2nd owner. it now has 160,000 flawless miles.
I did a clutch, ONE rear shock,a battery and alternator and of course plugs, cap, rotor and one set of wires. I do my own brakes(very easy stuff). Fuel tank leaks now, so it only gets like 8 gallons at a time.
Everything is great on it...Ice cold AIR, great heat, Cruise control. Ill just drive it until it stops. , Then i will know exactly what
to replace when it blows....I use it 3-4 miles a day now thats it...

Completely stumped, John S
