Default Blue smoke from exhaust while running and with pressing gas

Recently put a engine in my civic now its smoking a little when its running when I hit the gas it increases or on start up a small amount comes out. I'm hoping its not anything major just the valve seals are worn I took all the spark plugs out and there is oil in the cylinders when I looked down inside. Any suggestions on what test should I do to determine the condition?

change valve cover gasket to make sure nothing from there. If it's burning at startup but then clears I would say seals. If it burns all the time and blue smoke always it could be seals but starts to sound like worn rings. But seals are the odds-on favorite for what's wrong.

its burnt a very small amount already I've been checking the dip stick and it hasn't been driven yet its fresh oil it's not as bad when its running but I can see it at the pipe a little now if I hit the throttle its a gone come out more now ifni change the valve seals and it still does it I'm pretty much screwed

Odds are it's the seals, almost every toyota and honda with a little burning on startup is valve seals.

Try a can of Engine restore 4 cyl formula with a fresh oil change and thank me later. It will help stop burning oil and restore some compression.
