Default 02 Accord 2.3L ULEV for a VTEC Engine Swap

I have an 02 Accord EX with the 2.3L Vtec ULEV (F23A4). Can I put a 2.3L Vtec F23A 'jdm' (or F23A1) engine in it and only plan to swap the ECM and downstream o2 sensor? If it has the intake and exhaust manifolds on it, will it bolt up and plug in to the existing wiring harness? Thx

Hey did u ever get this working correctly? I had this swap done and never got my car running right. It's been sitting for over a year because I just bought a daily because I got tired of driving it that way but im thinking it's time to either figure out the engine or just go with an H22

I ended up doing a standard engine swap and just put all the ULEV stuff to the JDM engine. Everything bolted up properly and no issues.

I believe I know what all is needed to do a ULEV 'delete' though: (should be plug and play too)

From the non ULEV vehicle:

PCM
Intake/sensors
Exhaust manifold and O2 sensors (and possibly the cat)
Possibly the carbon canister at the fuel tank and associated sensors

Since I got the car back after the swap It was really slow off the line. It also was really slow when trying to merge on the freeway where Id be scared someone was going to run into me and It put off alot of heat where when sitting in the car I could feel the heat coming from I guess under the car.
