Will this aftermarket radio fit my 1996 Honda Civic?
Get a nice USED single-DIN headunit like an older model Alpine and be done with. It will fit fine. Make sure to get a radio wiring harness as well. They can be had for under $10.

Upgrade to a double DIN. The opening of your car is that size. If you want navigation and other nice features, it won't be $65. lol
You can get a Jensen double din touch screen BT HU like $72 on Amazon. Add nav/back up camera for a bit more.

Remove the dash pocket in the lower console and put it behind the cupholders.

You are going to need to make a bracket to get it to fit, but size wise it looks like it will fit. But it's an odd single din because it's in the middle. So, you will need to make a bracket to fit it in there and be stable.
So, yes it should. My personal belief is to pick a different stereo because it's so odd, but hey if you like it, just make the bracket.
