Default Transmission Bolt - Missing bolt on transmission

Hi All,

I have a 2015 Honda Civic Sedan. I was doing my oil and transmission fluid and noticed a bolt was missing.

In the attached picture you can see the missing bolt (red arrow). I think I've been driving for tens of thousands of miles so far like that. It looks about the same size as the bolts below it (blue arrow). Are these mounting bolts for the transmission? Any ideas?

Thanks!

I could be wrong, but I don't think that bolt is actually missing. I believe that threaded hole is for a different block configuration and would thus be empty in your chassis combination.

I'll do some research on that, thanks!

This would about HAVE to be correct, since there is nothing there for the bolt to be securing. I suppose something could have been there at some point but based on it's location and how close it is to the mating part, there's not really room for anything to go there.
