Well I'm about to the point of installing my Koyo radiator but I wanted to ask you guys if you know of a shroud that will work on it and utilize a Spal 12" puller fan?

 

I used a cheap eBay shroud i got off Facebook. The two top bolt locations where the same but i had to cut and re weld the bottom two.

 

Those cheap aluminum fan shroud on Ebay will work. That's what I'm using for my SPAL fan as well. In my case, I couldn't find any listings selling just the shroud by itself. Had to contact a seller and they sent me an invoice for the shroud.

 

Greg / Go-Autoworks makes shrouds for his radiators. He may be able to modify the tab locations to fit the Koyo if it's different.

 

Didn't do a shroud. used a 13" SPAL and covered the main areas.

 

some rubber foam seals would help the corners too.

I tried using some with the adhesive backing but they tend to move around and back off. It's fine if you don't have the seals.

 

What u mean covered the main areas? This is what I'm running, I didnt use a shroud either, but I always wonder if I put a shroud on it if it wud make much of a difference

 

I'll try to find some, as I've taken the fan off and sold the radiator.
But to answer your question directly, I used brackets in the shape similar to those used on a turbine housing. The 13" SPAL fan housing acts as a natural shroud on the sides of the Koyo, Mishimoto, and C&R Radiators
