Just finished up a sweet 5th gen sub enclosure. . .
0 gauge wire from battery to distro block:

IDMAX12 V2-D4 flush mounted into baffle:
Side shots of enclosure in trunk. There is a small curve on the front corner so it dosnt look as obtrusive with the trunk open:
Fused distribution block in place of jack access (jack is by the spare now). 0 gauge in, two 4 gauge outputs.

The wiring is awful right now and the amp isn't mounted down. He is getting a JL Audio 400/4 amp for his internal speakers and an alpine HU. I'll build him a sweet little amp rack and tidy everything up once that stuff shows up. The encloures totals about 1.2 cubic feet and has 12 gauge speaker wire going in through the back. The top and front baffle are .75" MDF, the back, bottom and corners are all fiberglass that is about 3/8" of an inch thick (made of Bi-axialy woven fiberglass cloth). The output of the sub is VERY impressive for a single driver. The stock HU is really holding back the system for sure. . .I can't wait to play with it once the alpine HU is in and we can take advantage of the 4V pre-amp outputs and sound processing features.
