Default Engine and trans swap

I have a 1997 honda civic auto with a d16 . I am putting in a standard and a b16a. I am having trouble finding the correct transmission mount for this . My car is a EJ I found one for a 92-95 but not for mine is it the same ?

No. Get an aftermarket kit, especially the one for the transmission. It's a "auto-to-manual" mount. Hasport makes them.

You might find a used one from an EM1, but they are spendy. Innovative also makes one.

there isnt anything special you need for auto to manual in a 96-00 civic
all the mounts themselves are the same for 96-00 civic auto or 5psd
its the brackets that are different for 5spd
any 5spd transmission bracket will work
the rear T bracket needs to be from a 99-00 civic si. honda sells them for around 50

This is what I have from my B18C1 swap I had in my civic. Mounts are anchor brand and pretty much brand new.

I also have the bracket i removed from a 95 and the donor car is a manual. how easy is it to remove and remount the correct bracket ?

Are you still talking about the bracket that attaches the transmission to the frame rail?

The honda civic d16 5spd bracket will work on a b-series tranny. I did it for my cousin.

Yep, the bracket from a d or b series civic transmission.
