Default Carbon Fiber hood for a Civic VX?

I went on the https://www.enjukuracing.com/ website to see about a carbon fiber hood. Their product pages list no information at all. (very puzzling!) But more puzzling, I cannot find the weight of CF hoods on any website from any manufacturer. I find this very strange! I'm posting here an email I just sent to enjukuracing in the hopes that some smaht people on here might be able to offer insight:

Good morning,
I hope this email finds you well! I hope you will read and pay attention to all the details in this email. I am very puzzled at how difficult (read: impossible) it is for me to find out how much carbon fiber hoods weigh. Why is this? I would think the weight of a carbon fiber hood would be the number one thing people want to know when they are considering if it's worth buying a carbon fiber hood. How much weight am I going to save over an OEM hood?

I have a stock 1992 Honda Civic VX. I love my car and am in the process of throwing a bunch of money at it to keep it on the road for another ten years since it's such a fun fuel sipper (I get 50+ mpg!) But I cannot for the life of me find out how much my stock hood weighs or how much an OEM-style carbon fiber hood for this vehicle weighs. The product information on your website is at best very puzzling: there is literally no information about your CF hoods. Nothing about the build quality; the manufacturing process, the materials, the rigidity, the strength,or anything; let alone the weight.

I see that you have OEM-style CF hoods for my car (Civic VX is a hatchback built from 1992 to 1995). How much does the hood weigh? Do you know, or are you able to find out how much the original OEM hood for the Civic VX weighs?

Thanks so much for taking the time to read and respond to my questions.

I checked another site VIS Racing that gives a nice, detailed description of the manufacturing process of their CF hoods. But they, too, do not list the weight. So I text the live chat:

Also, if one were to buy a used carbon fiber hood with scratches is it possible to scuff the surface and re-clear coat it to make it look new again? I'm not really sure how all that works with CF.

Yes, you can sand and then re-clearcoat the hood to make it look new again. Not very hard, just takes some elbow grease:

Of course you can get better results with better tools, but if you take your time then you should come out with a nice finish. After the clear coat has completely dried, you can wax the hood too which can also improve the overall shine and finish.

That one that OP linked might be yellowed and hazed in the gel though. I have the same issue with my old Fiber Images hood. No amount of sanding and re-clearing will get rid of that, but it will still look a lot better when it's done.
