Default Regarding The J35A8 Engine

Haven't been able to find many details on the J35A8 engine. Here are some quick questions:

I believe this engine was used on the 2005 Acura TL (and others as well)?
Fitted to the Acura engine it was offered with only an automatic?
If I use the factory CPU as designed for automatic use will it work with a manual trans as well?
Does this engine use an electric throttle or any other fly-by-wire stuff? If so, I assume it would be possible to replace the stock throttle control with a simple cable set up?
Does this engine use port injection only, or does it include a direct injection nozzle as well?
What direction does this engine rotate?

I would like to swap a 6 spd manual trans in-line style to use for a RWD application just so you know of how it will be used.

Any other engine related stuff I should be thinking of? Anyone know of a good write-up on this engine?

Thanks a bunch!
Randy

Randy,

This engine is the 3.5L engine offered in the 2005+ Acura RL and the 2007-2008 Acura TL Type S. The 2007-2008 TL Type S came in both automatic and manual transmissions. The manual transmission was a 6-spd with limited slip diff.
