I know this is stupid but I just want to make sure, on my other cars it was a grey plug, but is this the service indicator plug? If it is do I just pull the blue connectors out?

Yes, the two pin blue plug in your picture with the black and brown wires IS the service connector.

 

So just pull it out? Pry it out with a screw driver?

 

If you need to check codes... yes. Pull the two-wire plug out of the green rubber holder and check your codes. When finished, re-insert the blue plug into the green rubber holder and shove it back up toward the roof in that corner of the dash.
