High RPM
It depends which transmission. A manual transmission is geared a bit lower (higher numerically) than an automatic in top gear. My 1999 5MT is around 2475 rpm at 65mph. At 70 it still hasn't reached 3k rpm. That's very reasonable IMO. At 75mph 3k sounds about right with either, as I believe there's not a huge difference with the gearing in the two transmissions with the Accord.
I prefer manual transmissions, but when looking at Honda CR-Vs with manuals, 65mph is around 3200rpm. The 2005 and 2006s with the 5 speed automatic is around 2,000-2,100 rpm at the same speed.
