I have a 2008 Honda Accord 3.5 L v6 engine and I believe the alternator shorted out due to the amount of engine oil on it. There is a leak or it’s dripping somewhere under the front bottom side of the engine locate under the 1st cylinder. It’s bad to the extent of the fan blowing the oil on everything in that area, but when I go to replace that spark plug there is oil on the coupling also. I was wondering where could the leak be coming from or is the block cracked somewhere I can’t see?? Also to see if the top of the engine block is not sealed properly and if anyone else has this issue??
