Default Trans refill 1995 accord 2.2

So I've had the motor out of the car and pulled the auto trans at the same time. I did drain it, but expect it had lost fluid due to some bad seals. How many quarts do I need to refill the thing. I have 5 right now and trying to see if I should get more

If you only drained it once before pulling it, probably 2.5-3 quarts came out depending on how long you let it drain and how leaky some of the accumulators can be.
During a normal change for me, it's ~3 quarts. I usually pull the drain, let it pour out, and then will manually shift through all the gears to see if it leaks down anymore. Work on something else. get done with that, plug it, refill with 2.5 and then go from there. Just make sure to charge each circuit(P-1) and verify it is topped off.
