Does anyone know wat these r for? Came from cleaning the valve train. For f23a1 engin

Does anyone know wat r these for? And wat they r? I was cleaning the valve cover and valve train and found these on the floor. For a f23a1 engine head.

Locating dowels maybe? Although they look more substantial than that...

Looks like one of the timing or syncronizing pistons out of the intake VTEC rocker assembly.
Recheck your intake rocker assemblies are complete.

Did you take your VTEC rocker assemblies apart? If you did check that the synchronizing pistons didn't fall out. Looks like they might be the B synchronizing piston (center location in the rocker assembly)
