So, We've had this car in my buddies shop for a while and cant quite figure out the issue.
I have searched the threads to see if anyone had a resolution to this issue and I've found nothing

1990 Crx
b18c bottom end
b16 head
running obd0 wiring everywhere back to an 0bd0>obd1 jumper harness into a p28 ecu on hondata s300 v1

issue is the car runs and idles fine
wont rev over 3500rpm
and throws a code 4 for crank angle sensor
I've tried everything from re-wiring the dizzy to replacing it.
only issue I've noticed is that I'm only getting 9.9v to the distributor

Should we try running an obd1 distributor?

If anyone here has any insight or needs more information I'd be truly grateful

if you have an OBD1 P28 ECU, you must use an OBD1 distributor

 

i did try running an obd1 distributor before but i think it was junk because the car ran like doodoo. i will give it another go round thank you!
