2000 Accord 2.3 Auto Please Help!!
I have a 2000 Accord EX 2.3 Automatic 4spd with 173,000 & no cel, The car will idle fine and will hold RPM's in Park, but when accelerating it wants to die at 2k Rpms like its not getting enough air or fuel pressure. I have replaced a lot of parts because it sat for a couple years, including, JDM Trans Swap, Timing Components, Distributor, Spark Plugs, Wires, IAC Valve, Fuel pump, Regulator, Lines, Tps, Map, Upstream 02 Sensor, Fan switch, Thermostat, Coolant temp sensor, Main Relay, Ignition Switch. I'm sure there's other things i'm forgetting. My leading suspects are the Neutral Safety Switch cause it's the only thing I didn't swap over to the JDM Trans, and possibly a clogged Catalyctic Converter but doubtful on the cat cause it holds 2k or higher rpms at idle and there doesn't seem to be any air restrictions at the tail pipe. Does anyone have any ideas?
Can you see intake air volume on a scanner? Have you put a fuel pressure gauge on the car and driven to see if there is a fuel drop off at that RPM?
Removed air filter to make sure nothing clogged in the intake?
Again, with a scanner you can see if it suddenly gets lean at that RPM which could indicate fuel issue
02 readings fine at that RPM?

I recently got TOAD for my laptop, still figuring it out but my intake is clear and I've cleaned the throttle body, My Manifold Pressure was sitting around 14 according to TOAD so I believe thats normal, but my O2 Sensors voltages were both reading at 1.2 Volts and it seems a little high. I just got a Fuel Pressure Tester Gauge so I will try that soon.
Yeah, if you have a scanner, something should drop when you put your foot on the pedal, whether it's air volume, fuel pressure, or ignition (timing or otherwise changing in the wrong direction).
Good luck. At least with a lot of us, we can spend some time on our projects and todo lists fixing, cleaning, upgrading our vehicles.

Yeah, I was wrong about the 02 voltage that was a old reading, and also it seems the RPM's arent as much a issue as the throttle itself. I noticed it dropped all power at a certain point in the pedal, even at 1500 rpms when coming up my drive way it just lost all power and when keeping my foot on the pedal it didn't stall put had enough power to hold me on the hill without moving me, then when letting off and holding the brake for a second it started to pull me a couple feet rinse and repeat until back on level ground. I ran TOAD while doing this. It seems my Throttle position sensor may have came out of position. Cause it was 9.4 at idle. Here is what my results were. Not sure why my Intake air temp is reading so high everything is pretty much stock.
