Default Replacing right cover on 95 Auto Trans

Has anyone replaced the right side cover on the transmission? I am unable to find the gasket for purchase online and wondering if the permatex stuff or whever will hold up on it, or if anyone has good recommendations for dealing with that cover.

Thanks.

I see what you mean. I found Honda rebuild kits with the gasket, but not individually. Although I've never done this transmission, I have used Permatex Ultra Copper or The Right Stuff Black gasket maker for this situation when I can't find a gasket and it's always held up. Most shops I visit use The Right Stuff as well.

Seems like they still have it listed.

Seems like no one has it even when its listed on the site: I tried 3 different online dealers only to have each one cancel it on me.

CurryAcura says

Dear customer,
It has come to our attention that there is an issue pertaining the part(s) in your order. Unfortunately, one or more of the parts in the order has been discontinued. This would mean that this particular part is no longer produced by American Honda and there is no longer a stock of part(s) in any warehouse. This ultimately means that no dealer can order and receive said part(s). Were sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and will be refunding you the full amount of part(s) discontinued. Best possible alternative to OEM would be to find an aftermarket vendor that supplies a replacement piece or a salvage yard that sells used parts. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email or call us. Thank you.

You might try a transmission repair shop and see if they have a source.

Like I offered above, I would just use gasketmaker at this point.

It dries in two hours with full cure in 24. It's not super glue
