So I'm doing a B20 Swap into a 98' EM1 and I'm trying to keep the same power steering pump(D-Series). The lower bracket fits but the upper bracket is not compatible, I heard a P72 bracket fits right in is this true or is it the other brackets like the P75 or PR3?
Use the honda crv bracket, me thinks, if you want to keep the d-series pump.
I swapped the old pump from my Civic onto the B20 from the CRV when I did that swap. It went on the CRV bracket just fine. Looking at Rockauto, 2000 CRV and 2000 D-series Civic use the same pump.
If you intend to use the Civic P/S pump, the CRV bracket is the best and most available choice. You could find LS upper and lower P/S brackets, but then you would have to source a "B" series P/S pump that matches your high pressure P/S hard line in your Civic.
What Freedo said is correct, obtain a b18 or b20 power steering bracket, basically a bracket for non-vtec motors and use your current D series power steering pump, as it will work.

B18 and B20 P/S brackets are NOT the same. Only the CRV bracket works with the "D" series P/S pump.

That's right. He kinda put words in my mouth. I didn't say a b18 bracket would work. The crv bracket is the only b series ps bracket to my knowledge that works with the d-series pump.
