Starter ? New Ground ? 911

Default Starter ? New Ground ? 911

Well, all the dashboard lights light up but the car won’t turn over just one click
I change the negative wire and put in a four gauge and grounded it
go to start the car all the gauges light up turn the key I just have one click.
is it a starter is it a fuse please help thank you?!

Was this car running before?

take a set of jumper cables and connect BOTH the red and black to the NEG side ONLY.
Connect the other ends to
solid metal on the transmission or right on the starter housing
bare metal on the chassis (even the nuts for the shows should work)

I took out the starter gonna have it tested,

I could pop the clutch and it would start
when I could drive it the brake light would stay on

If you attach a wire to the + battery post and touch the wire on the unplugged starter solenoid terminal, does the engine crank?

That's could be the brake fluid level.
There is a low fluid level you get the dash light warning. As your pads wear low, the fluid level leaves the reservoir and is contained in the calipers.
When they get really low, (or if you get a leak in a line) the light comes on. You shouldn't add/top off brake fluid as routine maintenance or this warning won't work.

Could also be the parking brake circuit.
A shorted or a broken switch.

Starter check pass 3 times

and the brake light is still on
ill check the fluids

I can pop the clutch and she starts
turning the key does jack squat

Could it be the Neutral safety switch? Anyone know anything about that
